Established in 2013, PropCom Management (Pty) Ltd is a property managing agent dedicated to helping trustees to manage their sectional title and homeowners’ association schemes.
Our body corporates are mostly located in the central and northern suburbs of Johannesburg, enabling us to maintain personal relationships with our clients.
Prop Com is proud of our excellent track record and will gladly provide references from existing clients.
PropCom is registered with the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (previously the Estate Agency Affairs Board), with the required valid Fidelity Fund Certificate.
In addition, we carry separate professional indemnity and fidelity insurance. We are also a member of the National Association of Managing Agents (NAMA).
We have in-depth understanding of the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act (2011), the Community Schemes Ombud Service Act (2011) and the Property Practitioners Act (2019), and we adhere to the property practitioners' Code of Conduct.
Our financial department includes an in-house chartered accountant who prepares a full set of financial reports each month, showing the income and expenditure of the body corporate and its financial position.
We issue levy invoices, recover levies and pay approved expenses (wages, supplier invoices, rates and taxes).
Along with guiding the trustees on all aspects relating to the sectional title laws, when required, our admin department can assist with appointing contractors, maintaining the common property, enforcing the rules of the scheme, and managing annual general meetings, special general meetings and trustee/director meetings.
PropCom is fully informed on the requirements of building and homeowners’ insurance, and will assist with processing claims if necessary.
